Where does your donation go?
All donations are processed through Rare Village Foundation, our fiscal sponsor in Texas, USA. Funds are only paid out to official signed contracts, MTAs, and invoices from partnering research organizations. All expenses will be published on our website.
Disease concept model development — capturing the lived experience of DNM1 patients and families to define the outcomes that matter most in future clinical trials.
First patient research conference — planned in collaboration with another patient organization in the US.
Long-read sequencing campaign — screening patients to match them with RNA therapies in development.
iPSC cell lines and organoids — including the two most recurrent variants (~30% of all identified cases), to accelerate drug testing.
Natural history study support — helping patients travel to clinical sites if FDA grant is approved.
Support DNM1 families — helping families access care, resources, and a supportive community.
